International football has always meant so much to me, Growing up in multicultural London with Portuguese and African roots, it always felt like much more. Some of my earliest memories are of my late grandad shouting at the TV and of the adults behaving like children. Even though we were too young to understand the game, we felt the importance. Funny enough, this month I also got to tattoo two tributes for my clients’ grandfathers, which was so wholesome. Supporting Portugal has always felt like a family tradition- one that will keep going. I feel lucky to have grown up watching Cristiano Ronaldo represent our country, and this World Cup also made me so proud of my Cape Verdean roots. Seeing Cape Verde play, celebrating France in France, and supporting England and Spain along the way reminded me that football is about so much more. It’s family, culture, community and memories. And Maybe the secret is not taking it too seriously... because celebrating more than one team is so much more fun than only chasing one result❤️‍🔥

Not at work on a Friday (except the work I had to do even on my day off because It Never Ends) so it was tattoo time. Thank you for my thorns, @artwork.by.cass The placement is impeccable. I also enjoyed the decor at @princelet_tattoo. And the visiting ginger cat called Alan who bites people if they try to touch his body. I didn’t get a picture of Alan but I did get a picture of a cheery fellow painted on wall. All good things. #halloweeen #londontattoo #sortofdayoff

I don’t think it’s possible to ever go wrong with moss agate 🤷‍♀️ here we’ve got a 3mm “Alary” on the left and the “Unice II” on the right, both by @junipurrjewelry - each genuine stone is different in their own elegant ways 💚🤩 ♡ Done @briarrosetattoo LDN ☆ Book in via the link in my bio (◕‿◕✿)

Delighted to have installed the “Belle” by @khrysospiercingjewelry in Cass’s healed second lobe piercing 😻💧🌼 anything dangly is my Achilles heel I swear, I love the movement! 💃 also, if you take a closer look you can see an out-of-focus “Koi” by @junipurrjewelry I fitted a while ago as part of a custom order - lots more to come (eventually) on this ear 🦜 ♡ Based @briarrosetattoo @rye.lanez.tattooing LDN ☆ Book in via the link in my bio (◕‿◕✿)
