Deadass! I ain’t seen myself pulling out of this one… Couch surfing, jumping from motel to motel, and hurting so badly that I was ready to take my own life. Before I could chase my dreams, I had to heal. Before I could build the life I wanted, I had to fight to stay here. It wasn’t easy. But Imma be alright going. Sharing this photo captured by @sirphotog and seeing proof that your lowest moment don’t have to be your ending. Sometimes you have to save yourself first… even if it means annoying your Best Friend, who had to set boundaries out of love and break cycles to show the the fuck our as the person they see you to be 🥹 #KeepGoing #HealingJourney #Recovery #Resilience #DreamChaser StillHere NeverGiveUp

This Wednesday, September 30, we are asking our community to go BLACK for Nolan Wells. Change your profile picture. Share his name. Let his face fill our timelines. This blackout is not silence. It is remembrance. It is solidarity. It is a community standing together and saying that Nolan Wells will not simply become another name we scroll past and forget. Behind the darkness is his face. Behind his name is a life. Behind this movement is a community that cares. One Community. One Voice. One Name. For Nolan. For his family. For everyone whose heart has been touched by his life. BLACKOUT FOR NOLAN WELLS - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER Change your profile picture and pass it on. #blackoutfornolan

👟 Artist Run Club –– Wednesday, September 2, 2026: 🌅 We met at Barton Springs for a plein air painting demonstration. Gregory Davis, Tyriek Kalil Taylor, and Ariana of Hive Mind joined organizer Thira Rose to paint or draw what they saw as the sun rose at Barton Springs ( @thirartist @worksbyegus @artxtkt @ariana.sky.walker @hivemindatx ) 🦆 The term “Plein air” originates from the French language. It means “in the open air,” and it is pronounced “plen air”. Painting outside became popular in the 1840s, made possible by a new technology, the compact box easel. 🦇 We left the plein air painters and looped the Lady Bird Trail around Barton Springs. On returning we saw what they painted from the morning moments. 🦋 Photos by Jonathan (@porisky ), Thira and Phillip. Post by Phillip. _________ Next run ➡️ 🕷️ Run club organizer Ken-Hou Lin will lead us on a running tour of the public art in and around the Meuller trail. Our first time running in this area of town! I first off want to give a huge shot out to the two amazing talented men who helped bring my dream to life! Thank you to our model @joshstrippz, @damiencain888 and to our body paint artist @mrtyriektaylor @artxtkt. I first reached out to Josh about this dream I had, it was a weird dream and I may have not told him exactly what the full dream was, but just what I got out of the dream and wanted to create. The full dream was almost a nightmare, consisting of statues coming to life and chasing after me. And as I tried to get away I’d look back and there were even more, until finally I stopped and accepted what I thought was my end, but instead of ending me, these marble sculptures that have come to life simply ran past me as I stared seeing every muscle in clear marble definition, they were beautiful stunning and I wanted to photograph them. So my idea of shooting a human sculpture came to mind. I pitched it to Josh with the only idea of just painting him in white, and he came up with the brilliant idea of inviting Tyriek into this collaboration! He shared his work with me and I 1000% signed off on it! I knew he just took my idea and elevated it to the next level! Once we all showed up in shoot day, I did not know what to expect, we all had our own visions but we shared a general North Star, and so Tyriek got to work, painting and painting Josh’s body while I eagerly waited to see what he would create. Once he finished I was in love with his master piece and now it was my turn. My turn to capture Josh in my light working out the poses together finding the right angles and then we were done, Josh started pulling off his paint and I started cleaning up, later importing the photos and getting to work on the edits, putting the final touches on bring the vision to life! #humansculpture #greekgod #bodypainting
