✨🖤 Unbox the Chapter 55 August box with me. 🖤✨

Can someone be too obsessed with book packaging? Because I might be. 😂📦

Every time I open a special edition package with protective styrofoam packaging, my little book collector heart gets excited. I love it so much when my special editions arrive so well protected!

And honestly? Chapter 55 did not disappoint.

I’m so happy to show off the @chapter55bookstore edition Of Blood and Aether by Harper Hawthorn. 😍

You probably already know that I’m a huge fan of naked hardcover special editions and this one took my breath away.

The dark colour palette, the gold foiling and the artwork all work together perfectly. And what feels extra special for me is the character artwork on the edges. This isn't something you see every day and I absolutely love how it turned out on this edition. 😍

❓ QOTD: What's the last book that completely lived up to the hype for you? 👀✨

This @chapter55bookstore Exclusive Edition features:
✨ An exclusive redesigned hardcover with gold foiling by @arvildon
✨ Digitally sprayed edges on all three sides by @arvildon
✨ Endpaper artwork by @aliceblakeart (different front and back)
✨ Interior formatting by @etherictales

This is my first ever @chapter55bookstore box and I'm honestly a little obsessed. 😍

Even these boxes look amazing and don’t get me started on the beautiful art print! 😍

The August box featured Of Blood and Aether by Harper Hawthorn and I genuinely wasn't prepared for how beautiful this edition would be in person.

The quality and design of this edition amaze me. ✨

❓ QOTD: How important is book quality to you? 👀📚
❗ A: For me, it's very important! I love books that feel sturdy and substantial in my hands. There's just something satisfying about picking up a book and immediately feeling how well made it is. 🥰📚

the court of venus blog tour | 🏰💕🌓

first of all, thank you so much to @bookbreakuk @panmacmillan and @libraryofchlo for having me on the tour and sending me a finished copy and some gorgeous art prints! [gifted]

yall this book sounds SO GOOD!! it’s the first book in a new Tudor inspired romantic fantasy duology! the magic system is centred around astrology where magicians are blessed by one of the seven planets at birth which grants them a specific ability!

The story follows Bianca Mortlake, the first Moonborn magician in over a thousand years, when she is summoned from her quiet life back to Alvion and its dangerous court that she thought she escaped from.

When she arrives at Alvion, she finds something has gone horribly wrong, and so she has to team up with a rival Venusborn magician from her childhood, Roland. They have to use her magic to save Alvion from the fate shown in the stars! ✨🌓🗡️

due to some unexpected personal circumstances, i was unable to read this book before my blog tour date but i can’t wait to delve into this world! the book sounds fantastic and i am OBSESSED with the character art which has me itching to read this book! i’ve personally never read anything with a magic system like this so i’m so intrigued as to how this will pan out! 🤭

QOTD: if you could have one magical abilty, what would it be?

𝔞𝔫 𝔬𝔡𝔢 𝔱𝔬 𝔬𝔫𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝔪𝔶 𝔣𝔞𝔳𝔬𝔯𝔦𝔱𝔢 𝔠𝔬𝔲𝔭𝔩𝔢𝔰 - STREET TEAM edition 💫

What do we do when we are ready to start reading the ARC of book two? You do a re-read with the AUDIO.

I AM STILL 𝓸𝓫𝓼𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 even after six+ months.
A Vow in Vengeance or AVIV by @jaclynrodriguezauthor is a slow burn enemies to lovers romantasy for the record books. “𝚜𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚖𝚎, Rune” still lives rent free in my head.

I need a physical copy of A Deal in Death IN MY HANDS. I need to lovingly & hungrily flip those pages and see that FLOP because it is so perfectly THICKKKK. The unique magical system, the banter and the revenge plot has me in a chokehold. @behindthepagespa coming in clutch as ALWAYS with the best authors.

QOTD: what is your favorite audiobook that you’ve listened to this year?

These overlays are STUNNING. I love a good piece of artwork and Jaclyn really found some of the best. @hannahelatham @arvildon @tattah.art
