Wrestling, thank you for being there in every season of my life, not just the winter ones. Thank you for the nines and sore muscles, for long practices and even longer dinners filled with laughter. Thank you for all the time spent playing Imposter, Green Glass Door, and Wavelength: moments that reminded me this team was more than just workouts and matches. Thank you for all the brothers who became family, for the bond that won’t fade as the season ends. I’ll forever be grateful to have been part of school history with y’all. Wrestling taught me discipline when quitting felt easier, dedication when comfort was tempting, and pride in doing things the right way. Through wins and losses, happiness and heartbreak, you showed me who I am and who I want to be. Thank you to the coaches who believed in me and made practice fun to be at. Thank you for pushing me past my limits. Wrestling didn’t just make me stronger physically, it shaped my character. And while I’m proud of everything we accomplished, I’ll always be a little sad that this chapter is over. Still, I wouldn’t trade a single moment. And for that, I’ll always be grateful.
