Your demo can go viral while your product stays optional.

That’s a question worth thinking about when you’re building with creators.

Thanks to @akgmedia for inviting me to share my thoughts on creator-led growth and marketing. Having run creator programs across channels, here’s a quick rundown of the questions we explored:

1. How do you turn attention into actual growth?

Follow what happens after the view. Did someone sign up? Get a useful first result? Come back? A video that gets attention and a video that brings the right users can look very different in your funnel.

2. Do people trust creators more than brands?

Creators bring familiar taste and judgment. Their audience knows what they stand for. That helps get someone to try your product. Your product still has to earn the next visit. The recommendation and the actual experience need to match.

3. Agency or in-house?

Agencies can help with sourcing, negotiations and coordination. Stay close to your audience, product story, scripts and final review. You need to understand why a message works before you can repeat it.

4. What makes the first 15 seconds work?

Start with something the viewer recognises from their own day. One problem. One use case. A visible payoff. For Demi, that could be the follow-ups waiting after a meeting, with work scattered across Slack and email. Show the task getting done.

5. How do you reach people outside the AI bubble?

Lead with the job you’re helping them do. Show how it fits into their day, what it can access and what they control. A short demo creates interest. A deeper walkthrough helps them understand how they’d actually use it.

6. What should the first 90 days look like?

First 30: experiment with positioning, pitches and customer profiles.
Next 30: understand what’s working and where the funnel breaks.
Last 30: scale the creators, stories and formats that work.

The most useful learning comes when you connect the content to what people actually do in the product.

Thank you, SF Tech Week!

Yesterday we hosted our first ever Tech Week event, and it was epic. One room full of brilliant founders, growth advisors and CEOs sharing their lessons in creator marketing.

We want to say a big thank you to our guest speakers: Grant Lee, Eduardo Sanchez-Ubanell, Fiona Turko and Gaurav Singh Bisen, for joining us and helping make this event so insightful.

We can't wait to share more about this awesome event.
