Wifey @katbenzova_rockphoto done did it again!

These images from our last shoot for @gibsonguitar were just accepted by the US Department of State to be part of an exhibition at the Art Museum of the Americas @amamuseum in Washington, D.C., presented by the American Arts Conservancy @americanartsconservancy 🇺🇸

Though these shots are admittedly staged, I still feel the deep well and stillness of songwriting is represented perfectly. Even without the lights and lens, this is a pretty damn accurate peek into my private process.

Location and A+ hat game courtesy of @thewisehatter.

That’s the scoop today. Now, off to recreate this moment IRL. 🎶

#WCW AF @olivia.kuper.harris ❤️

Giving this queen alllll o’ her flowers 🌹💐 and all of my gratitude. 🙏🏾Today & erryday.

Over the past few years Olivia has become a dear friend and invaluable collaborator. She’s truly blessed me by saying YES to being a part of my sonic journey as I’ve been cuttin record after record. It started with some BGVs on a track that I’ll be dropping next year. Then I got to help edit some of her music vids… We dabbled in a few different creative arenas, so to speak. Then, I asked her to doobie-do-wah a duet with me on the ❤️Yesterday’s Lovers💔 EP. Not only did she say yes, she shmuuuurdered it above beyond anything I heard in my head before she hit the booth.

Lemme tell y’all, this woman can saaaang. Like 🥴 “stank face” ughhhh kinda sang. Not sing kiddos. She SANG! Brilliant writer, beautiful voice, beast-mode-boss-bish all around. Please give your self the gift of following her and listening to some of her solo work. It’s 🤯

Honored to have her by my side on our song “No Good Reason” and in life in general. Love you OKH! We just warming up;)

Now, go stream “No Good Reason” off the Yesterday’s Lovers EP and hear what all this hype about.

If Bill Withers’ “Lean on Me” was to be personified, there would be no better fit for every lyric than this group of men. #MCE

It’s been a little over two years since we all opted in to take this ride as a squad, and holy fawkkkkk what a ride it’s been. Highs, lows, wins, losses, tears of both joy and agony, arguments, shit talking, break ups, make ups, unyielding support, compassion, listening and unfuckwithable TRUST.

We live in a time and in a society where men are taught to fear each other, to fight, compete, kill. Why? It only makes us weaker! So we said “fuck that!” We’ve taught ourselves how to break down and reverse all that programming. We’ve found a level of strength through vulnerability that no caption could capture. You can’t teach this shit. You can’t buy this shit. This kind of wisdom and wealth has to be earned.

This past weekend we came together to celebrate our work and our friendship with a lil dash of adventure. 🏔 These are just a few pics of the lifelong memories made with:
