Last weekend some friends came over. We turned the beds and planted for the fall crops, split wood for the cold months, and cooled off in the river when the sun got high. One of the last summer weekends.

At night we made stone soup over the fire, most of it grown right here, and danced in the dirt until the light went soft.

Somewhere between the shovel, the river, and the fire it landed clearly: this is how we are meant to live. Hands in the earth. Good food. Slow. Together.

Gracias a todos los que vinieron. La tierra se acuerda.

What seeds are we gathering now for the generations to come? How might we tend our relationships with greater intention?
 What becomes possible when we bring our creative potential into relationship with one another?

The Falling Leaves Jam is an invitation to remember Earthdance’s lineage while continuing to shape a living, adaptable community for the future.

I am the luckiest human!!! I feel so grateful for all that this life has given me. I am so so so blessed and having a big fat moment of gratitude cos cowabungaaaa life is beautiful and I have so much. I won’t ever take it for granted.
I have a body and I can boogie, play, frolic, cook, eat, snooze and sing, all in the magical place I am so proud to be an immigrant. Gracias siempre a ti Costa Rica, gracias a todos mis amores costarricenses, estoy siempre aquí para ustedes y no tengo las palabras expresadas para agradecerles 🇨🇷
I can splish and splash in oceans and rivers and scamper on rocks and eat fruit with my hands.
I get the privilege to feel huge feelings and support others in my work and my intentions for the future.
I have three rescue floof babies who are bizarre and hilarious and teach me so much each day. My Chicky baby, my Ernie piglet pie and my Pancito bread crumb, you are the loves of my life.
To my friends, you teach me unconditional love and forever help me grow and evolve in the direction of greater love and community and being my fullest self.
I live with an icon and a legend @nellyfromtheblocc you are so special, you make our house a home just by your being in it. Thank you for all you do my magical lavender I love you.
My man @asa.timbe you are so special, kind, powerful, talented, sooo so soooo fucking talented. The way you move, your music, voice and artistry, your energy. You, my love are divine , safe, sleepy, grounding, funny, beautiful, inspiring, silly, outrageously sexy and I feel so expansive together.
