Like a lot of you, I had to start asking myself some real questions about my faith in 2020. In light of all the insane political activity that was going on, pastors being exposed for being predators over and over again, and also learning to self reflect and think deeper during my graduate psychology training, I started becoming disillusioned with the faith traditions I was once so dependent on.

Coming Back is an anthem about returning to the heart of God, despite all the questions, doubts, and frustrations. Maybe not even despite, in the midst of. As I get older, I’m realizing more and more that faith is actually fostered in uncertainty, rather than dogma.

I wrote a song about what it was like to read one ridiculous headline after the next during the lockdown… and finally found some friends to crash out with in this live rendition. Coming Back (Recorded Live at Susan Street) is out NOW and also available in all its video glory on YouTube. Thanks to all involved.

The Send Conference .

As I moved throughout this weekend, many things caught my attention. But one of the most notable was watching so many of my friends work together to make this happen. I can't get over Gods brilliant design of team. All throughout scripture it's people being sent together, praying together, being together, working together. Exploits always require a team and that was intentional. I think one of God's favorite things is extending an invitation to us to be apart of something and watching people work together to make it happen.

Anyways, please enjoy my less than quality iPhone content of some incredible moments and moments this weekend through my eyes 🫶🏻
