Hi all, Asabi and I are super excited to announce our new music is here! Released this Saturday, May the 4th.

***The soulful power of Asabi Goodman’s vocals is finally on vinyl!***

The highly anticipated collaboration between the renowned singer/ songwriter Asabi Goodman, and producer/arranger Geoff Boardman A.K.A. Blunted Stylus brings authority and intrigue to the dance floor, with the flipside Afro’ funk-soul instrumental to “Free your mind..”

See link in Bio for Digital download and Limited Edition Vinyl. Lock it in for May 4th!!!

This drop is reminiscent of the back-to-back, wall-to-wall packed dancefloors of the fever-pitched disco era, steady spinning in at 115 BPM.

A quick little post of acknowledgment and appreciation on the 20th anniversary of Hairspray on Broadway and the official opening night of the 2022 Australian revival.
.
I am beyond honored to be stepping into the shoes of the glorious women who have come before me to play the role of “Motormouth Maybelle;” Ruth Brown (1988 - original film), Mary Bond Davis (2002 - Broadway), and Queen Latifah (2007 - movie musical), specifically. All are women I have admired throughout my life and give much thanks for paving the way.
.
I am also very grateful to the Hairspray creative team for welcoming me into their family with open arms. From a young, dark, heavy girl from the plains of Oklahoma who was too shy to follow her dreams of being a performer and chose to become an engineer and then changed her mind 20 years later (😅), thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! 🥲☺️❤️
