Peak happiness:
squealing, squabbling, and Mom’s first attempt at making Dad’s favorite tartiflette, which we tried in the French Alps, years before kids.

I hope ‘one day’ comes and stays long before these days are gone. For you and for me.

Where did these big kids come from?! 🥹🦅🚀
They are blessed. Believed-in.
Men of integrity, honesty, and character.
The head - with some tail tendencies - but the head, nonetheless… and they are ready!

I remember so much from third grade 🥹
He’s a marvel and has so much to look forward to!

You are the best of us, @jasondyba.
Happy Fathers Day to you,
The one we all lean on; and lean hard, we do.
The one who makes sure they see how Dad should love and forever romance their Mom.
The one who shows them how to be a great son.
The one who sends silly-face-camp-grams to our first time camper during his Fathers Day Tea.
The one who builds and re-builds all our dreams and is in all our favorite moments, every season.
The one with whom I’m so grateful to raise these remarkable young men.

They’re crazy about you and so am I.

Let’s skip over to our Sunday Roast now, shall we?
There’s more joy and love to toast, indeed! ✨🤍🫶🏻

“There is nothing to fear here . . . He was raised, just as He said!”

Nothing to fear.
Hope for the impossible.
I weep with joy, knowing intimately the truth of Easter:

“By the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Happy Easter, innocent ones!
We are dearly loved. May love, not fear, drive all we ever do. 🤍

Sweet Asa was down for the [pollen] count today, but up in luck! We present to you, Mom’s first foray into haircutting 💀

Could be worse?! Can only get better?!
…at least Easter’s not tomorrow 🤭🐣

@cup_of_jojo_ I should’a checked your post-soccer availability before I went in 😂

Just wait for Roman. I think I should be more afraid than I am…

Goodbye 2025, and thank you, Christmas Season ✨ We’ll take every bit of joy you brought and pay attention to how everything else taught us to be more patient, loving, compassionate, and softer to ourselves and others. 🕊️ There is always more to come!

I love you, @jasondyba and another year in our story.

What an 🎈ASA-BRATION! 🎈

You’re the softest spot in my world.
You’re a turkey, through and through.
Your “okaaaay fiiiiine”s melt me,
And your side eye slays me, too.

That’s all the rhymes I got,
but all I got is all yours, babe.
For the sweetest, charming buddy
We give much thanks this Asa Day! 🫶🏻✨

This year, Asa’s giving all of us a great workout in belly laughs and patience. He’s well-balanced that way. Some days we arrive at “Mrs. Dyba, please come to the school and get him” from reciting “The Lord is my Shap-hurd, I lack NUFFING!” every morning, and I’d already give anything to stay in these days.

I love this sweet old soul who loves a good rest.
His future is beautiful and indeed, he lacks nuffing.
Thank you, friends for loving Asa alongside us! 🤍

4 years of Asa.
Long live the giggles.
Long live the blankie.
Long live “Chick-uh-way”.
You are a child of untied laces.
I want you to be big,
but right now I just want you
to be small.
Your voice is the voice of wonder.
Your hands are the hands of mischief.
Your smile is a smile
that makes life worth living.
Long live the days of tricycles.
Long live falling asleep in my arms.
Long live these days, our days.

Guess what??!?! Tomorrow is Mom’s birthday! She is always making special treats and surprises for us. And she taught me how to make my own bacon! And I’m learning to play piano just like her. And double-guess-what?!? Asa’s birthday is on Thanksgiving Day. 2 birthdays in 1 week! Asa is so funny and now he’s big enough to wrestle. Lesssgo.

I got to spend a whole week at Grandma & Grandpa’s house! We went to a Kane County Cougars game, to Blackberry Farm, to the water park, to Top Golf, and had lunch with Great-Grandpa. It was very hot outside but we had lots of fun!
