Dancers of Iceland! Join us ! 🩷

The application link is in bio under “sign up sheet” and is open until December 1st

About us:
Movement Database Iceland - Movement Data or simply MDI, is a site where Iceland based professional dancers can be listed openly for projects. A site where theaters, productions, advertising companies, artists and other institutions can seek dancers for any project. We want to encourage diversity in the scene and give all dancers the opportunity to step forward.

We also want to increase the public’s knowledge of different dance styles, to assist in the selection of “talent” for each project.

Our goal is to increase access and create more opportunities for dancers in Iceland.

Menninganott 2026

🎶 In old memories
Three virtues
To return, to find me
To not get lost
As long as you are there
My new form
An air of peace gently enveloped me
Forehead bare
In a primordial fire
At night I speak with voices
Unseen
The light flows to me
The soul of a nymph sings
Not a shadow
No fleshly form
I am the light of the moon
Mystical breath
I shine with Hecate in the circle of the night
A voice from the ether
Breath of light
In old memories
Three virtues
To return, to find me
Not, not to get lost
As long as you are there
My new form
In old memories
Three virtues
To return, to find me
Not lost🎶
