What a morning at the 13th Edition of the Wings for Life World Run here at our App Run in Fontana at Fontana High School.

Today, we had over 100 runners come together on a mission bigger than themselves… running for those who can’t and helping move us one step closer toward a cure for spinal cord injury.

Across the globe today, over 346,000 participants in 173 countries ran at the exact same time, helping Wings for Life raise over $10 million for spinal cord injury research. To process the magnitude of that global movement is incredible. What once felt like a distant hope truly feels like a virtual certainty. I genuinely believe we are getting closer to a cure.

I’m beyond grateful for the support of Red Bull North America, Wings for Life and Brandon Peters, and to Adrienne Meelarp and the entire Club Studio Upland team for believing in this mission and helping bring this event to life at Fontana High School.

And a huge thank you to my partner in crime and fellow Captain Ambassador, Stephanie Aiello, for all of the heart, energy, and passion you poured into today.

Most importantly, Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible mothers we had the privilege of running in honor of today. Your strength, love, sacrifice, and unwavering support inspire more people than you know.

Today was special.
Today was impactful.
Today was hopeful.

Last year, we showed up… and the rain showed up too.
And it didn’t matter one bit.

Alongside my dear friend Stephanie Aiello, @uwalk_iglide with the global movement of the Wings for Life World Run and the backing of Red Bull, we created something unforgettable. A 4 AM app run experience that people are still talking about to this day.

There’s something different about this run.
It’s not just about miles.
It’s about meaning.

Even in the dark.
Even in the rain.
Even before the sun comes up…

There is power when people come together with purpose.
There is energy when a movement is built on unity.
There is impact when we run for those who can’t.

And this year, we’re bringing that same energy—just in a new place.

Despite our app run location from last year, a group of us will be showing up in DROVES at Fontana High School this year. And here’s the best part… whether you can be there with us or not, you can still run anywhere you are in the world and be part of this global movement.

Join us this Sunday, May 10 at 4 AM
Run in honor of the incredible mothers and maternal figures in your life
Run for those who are still waiting on a cure
Run as part of something bigger than yourself

Do to the rain, we took our workout inside. Hit a little hyrox run during lunch at clubstudio in Upland. Their Hyrox room is pretty awesome if you want to train with the Gear from Centr. My favorite part is the Centr assault treads!!
