Such a fun show at the Orono Fair with Tenille Townes, Nate Haller and Alycia Hebert. Alycia opened the show with an acoustic set. Nate followed with a nice high energy set where he opened with his song backfire with tenille. Then Tenille brought all the feels with her full band show including bringing a fan up on stage to sing as you are. And of course she had her box on stage and I was able to get another jump shot. So all in all it was a great time seeing her with a full band for the 1st time this year.

If you’d have told the kid who grew up tobogganing down this hill that she’d be headlining a Folk Fest seeing her hometown pack it full of lawn chairs and love one day, she’d be losing it.

More words on this whole weekend soon but I’ve had the most amazing time taking it all in. Made a bunch of new friends, connected with so many people I love from home, got to jam on stage with my dad, met the sweetest kid who made me a flower crown, and have just felt so inspired by all the different music I’ve got to hear.

Thank you Grande Prairie for the kindest hometown welcome this weekend @bearcreekfolkfestival 💛

Friday was a great day for music. Hats off to ASCAP for being the bees knees to artists and for letting me share some songs.

A while ago, @michaelballdrums and I sat at a beachside restaurant and saw Swamp Cabbage Fritters on the menu. We concluded it was a lit band name (that we would only be half serious about) but nonetheless I decided this show was a good enough reason to make tees for the band to wear while we rocked out. 😎🤪🥸

Thanks to @smoky.mountain.roots for whipping those tees up fast
