Last Wednesday October 7th, SDSU’s student organizations; AGC, ASCE, WIC, and WTS, hosted our annual Professional Development Day!

We welcomed 66 companies and more than 400 students for a day centered on career opportunities. Students connected with industry professionals, showcased their resumes, and learned about internships and full-time positions while gaining valuable industry insight.

A huge thank you to all of our platinum, gold, and silver sponsors. We couldn’t have hosted this event without your support.

From June 25th-June 27th, the SDSU Concrete Canoe Team had the privilege of competing at the 2026 ASCE Concrete Canoe National Competition for the first time since 2002 (attended on a bye after hosting in 2001) after winning our first Regional competition ever!

This accomplishment reflects countless hours of design, construction, testing, and teamwork from every member of our team. We are proud to share some of our achievements among the world’s top concrete canoe programs! :

1st Spirit❤️🖤
12th in Final Prototype
10th in Men’s Slalom
11th in Overall Racing
15th Overall Competition

Thank you to all the schools who spoke to us, and befriended us at Nationals. We will remember this experience forever!🫶

This season may be over, but we’re already looking ahead to what’s next. Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this journey!
