@ascend_strength_pt #StrengthAndConditioning session was going to plan (as much as a para session can) then things got interrupted slightly. Anyway good session with @dazzle_uk and @jonathanshields_paraclimber.

Time to get stronger.

Today was all about understanding where I am physically and identifying the biggest areas for improvement. Thanks to @ascend_strength_pt and @dazzle_uk for putting me through my paces!

A did something new for paraclimbing a few weekends ago.

The Belgium National this year ran a brilliant idea of doing actual lead climbing, speed, and bouldering.

40 athletes from all over the world and from all disciplines attended to show that para athletes can also do the same level of sport as the able World level climbers.

I won 2 x bronze medals in lead and bouldering. Actually coming 2nd in lead climbing.

It showed how national competitions can include other disciplines. I hope that more countries adopt this kind of opportunity going for in future years.

Thank you to the Belgium organization and @fre.climbs for running a brilliant event and to @klimax_bvkb for hosting the day.

Thank you to my strength and conditioning coach Joe from @ascend_strength_pt for putting me on track to be able to bring home these medals.

Check out the results at www.paraclimbing.be

When a paraclimber with MS messes around with medicine balls for a giggle. Tring a new thing.
