10 days of paradise with @hanse.ensemble !
Touring through the hanseatic North with an amazing team of musician collegues, early 17th century music with cornetto and sackbuts, my favourite language mix of Spanish-English-German, playing in 466 - 1/4' meantone - from different balconies, great discussions, a lot of fun...😍

The tour with @hanse.ensemble was a dream come true. A huge thank you to Manfred Cordes and his team for enabling us this great opportunity, and to all the wonderful fellow musicians who made this project such a unique and positive experience!

A wonderful tour with @hanse.ensemble has come to an end ✨ ___________________________________________________IMPULSE

Music Import to the Hanseatic Cities
The IMPULSE programme focuses on musicians from the late Hanseatic period who travelled from their homelands – such as England, Flanders and southern Europe – to the flourishing Hanseatic cities, where they brought their own musical styles ‘in their luggage’ and had a significant influence on the music of these trading cities. Through the selected works, the ensemble aims to bring to life the resulting complexity of the musical language, which would not have emerged without the migration of these musicians.

The ensemble presents 16th- and 17th-century music featuring vocal soloists and period instruments such as the cornetto, Baroque trombone, Baroque violin, viola da gamba and chitarrone. It comprises young musicians from across Europe who are studying or have studied early music and are at the start of their musical careers.

A project by YTHM and co-funded by the European Union.

3 years in the making....
.
.
Also 70 Sessions für 14 Songs.
Das sind genau 5 Sessions pro Song!
.
Also ca. 245 Stunden Arbeit.
.
(Und we ain't got no label nor management helping us out in any way whatsoever)
.
BIG UP TO JAKO AND ME!

🚀 Unfassbar – das Projekt Leonardo da Vinci Kammerorchester hat seinen 1. Geburtstag!!
