When your great friend and collaborator visits you and gives you a copy of their team and business brochure, and you're so excited to see it, you take a fuzzy photo!!

Well Alan and Jacky are in shot at least!!

@thatalan.as @asdesignne have been with us at every turn of the Celebrate Difference / HUB journey and we're so very grateful.

Is an archivist’s work ever done? Likely not but I’m getting pretty close now. After a twelve-year journey curating deluxe expanded editions of the five Toyah studios albums for the Safari label (+ four live albums & a career-spanning best of) comes Revelations. Finally the B-Sides are all together on one album. Released 21 August on @cherryredrecords

On the 5CD box set are 50 previously unreleased rarities. New discoveries with alternates, extended & early versions. Most exciting is 6 newly constructed tracks from the original multi-track sessions that I somehow managed to have Joel Bogen mix. He’s unsurprisingly done an amazing job on bringing new life to those 1979 Sheep Farming sessions and a space mission flavoured Dreamscape.

What would the four year old on that photo on that second slide make of this?

Fave B-Side: Voodoo Doll - (an early version with additional lyrics/vox appears & a live version too)

Thanks to Joel Bogen, Toyah Willcox, Nick Watson, James Perrett, Alan Sawyers, @nicosawyers & all at @asdesignne

It’s a week since I got back and I’m still buzzing!!

I had the best, worst and everything in between time doing my most recent Charity bike ride from Prague to Poland.

🗓️ 4 days
📍350 miles
⛰️ 14,298 ft

I’ve absolutely smashed my fundraising target of £500 with a massive £1,200 raised. I’m am so, so grateful for everyone that has donated, it really does mean a lot. And on the hardest day in immense heat, I just kept thinking I why I was doing this crazy bike ride!! “Doing it for the kids”.

We received a lovely email from Action for Children which just reinforced how every £1 can and does make a difference.

A final HUGE thank you to my business sponsors for believing in me and supporting me. Please be proud that your business is helping do amazing things for children in the UK 🇬🇧

🚴🏼‍♀️ Day 3 🚴🏼‍♀️

Another brutal day!! The longest I have ever sat on a bike, the longest climb EVER, and the most amount of elevation EVER! 6122ft over 82.42 miles. I stopped to pray for the hill to end 😂

Thankfully a bit cooler, and the views were amazing again 😍

Today is the longest with 103 miles but because we are on top of a mountain staying in a ski resort we’re starting with a lot of decent so hopefully munching some miles won’t make it as long as yesterday.

Thank you to all my messages of good luck and also checking in on with the heat.

🚴🏼‍♀️ Day 2 🚴🏼‍♀️

Wow! Yesterday was brutal!! The heat made EVERYTHING harder. I am so, so pleased I bought a white UV protection top to change into and that the hood actually fitted over my helmet so I could deflect the sun.

But we did it!! 96.38 miles in the heat, up to 35 degrees. It was the longest day, 10 hours in total due to stopping a few extra times because of the heat.

Today is shorter with a lot more elevation…but hoping that means a little bit cooler too!

Thank you to all my messages of good luck and also checking in on with the heat.

It’s nearly time!!

Massive thank you to @alihyl from @uniformsuppliesuk for printing my sponsorship t-shirt and hand delivering it at our @north_east_network meeting yesterday.

Such a great buzz in the room yesterday, lots of partnership working, supporting and collab going on. Exactly what networking is all about.

Massive thank you again for my business sponsors, I hope to make you proud on my ‘little bike ride’ 🚴🏼‍♀️

🚴🏼‍♀️ 1 week to go 🚴🏼‍♀️

I can’t believe that 1 week today I’ll be in Prague starting my longest bike ride to date!! My last long bike ride is done. A lovely little (35 miles) to Newcastle for a coffee ☕️ and back on my ‘big bike’ aka my hybrid.

My road bike is ready to be transported over to Prague with our ride organisers, @challenge central & the only thing left for me to do is pack my suitcase!

Just a reminder of what I’m about to embark on…

Day 1 - 93 miles / 2148 ft elevation
Day 2 - 82 miles / 5914 ft elevation
Day 3 - 100 miles / 4096 ft elevation
Day 4 - 58 miles / 1353 ft elevation
