A special, late azZzz mihi to our bros @_tommytran_ @villalemanu for letting the two smiley ladies at the end judge @asdffest and spin some yarns for the love of dance AND film — two loves, colliding! 🫶🏼

Very proud of these filmmakers/curators, and honoured to have been asked!!! + a special mention to the ladies bts helping their tāne realise their dreams @savahtani @alainalemanu ❤️‍🔥

Keep tabs on these ones — they’re only just getting started and they’ve got something really special going ✨

What a night! 🎬✨ We were recently blessed to host the Aotearoa Street Dance Film Festival (ASDFF) organised by the amazing Villa Junior Lemanu, Tommy Tran and team!

From powerful short films to raw street dance storytelling - rhythm, home, and connection was celebrated behind every frame.

Big shout-out to the ASDFF team, filmmakers, dancers, volunteers and the community who brought the theme “Rhythm of the Land” to life.

His film Ko Wai Au? took home:

Big love to the ASDFF team for creating a powerful platform for street dancers to tell their stories through film.

Huge shoutout to @villalemanu and @tommytran for another dope festival and to all the filmmakers and artists who brought their visions to life 🎥
