We had a brilliant night at @loughboroughfarm celebrating the opening of their new Plant Room 🏠🌱 Earlier this year we were delighted to be asked to lend a small hand on the rebuild of the plant room, the design for which had been developed by the brilliant Ioana, Valerio and their architecture students from London South Bank University. We were on site over a long weekend to help guide students in some construction tasks, in particular taking responsibilty for preparing the structure for cladding, and laying a brick-paved floor. Its safe to say we were all learning on the job, but we had a brilliant time and it was a particular pleasure to work with the students who were so committed to the task 🙌 Although we only joined in for a few days, the team continued working on the project after we had left, and last night we got to hook up with them again and celebrate their success at the official opening party! A HUGE thanks to Alice and Heather at @loughboroughfarm for getting us involved, to Ioana, @v_a_l_e_m_a_x_ and the @lsbu students for allowing us to work with them, and of course to our friends at @platformcafe.lj for keeping everyone fed through the project (and again last night!) with their incredible food 💚
