Srinivasa kalyanam....

This is commissioned by @ashagummadi gaaru to whom i'm grateful for!!
She saw my painting of BAPU rama pattabhishekam with gold leaf background and asked if i can do srinivasa kalyanam in similar version.
Though I had few references to copy from, every element I had to carefully design and execute that could match what client had envisioned .
Since we can't roll a canvas with gold leaf painting, we had to choose different background, and her choice of colour pallette was BOLD.
And here it is...
Srinivasa kalyanam painting, with bold red background, a grand entrance, a stage adorned with gopuram with garuda deva watching from top.
Hope you all like it 😇

Haleakalā’s summit rises over 10,000 feet above sea level, offering a surreal view of the sun emerging above a sea of clouds. But No Sun that day .. I think he is shocked to see me at 2:30 am :) and could not come out 😁
