Triple Jump Breakdown Pt 70 ft @ashbrookquinn
.
Jumpers tap in and let Quinn know what I missed!
.
Coach’s notes
1) Quinn’s made solid improvements here, so I want to keep things sime@and focus on a few things. If Quinn can focus on getting more extension out of his leg when moving to second and third phase contacts, that added range of motion will result in more force production and ultimately further jumps! Nordics, hamstring curls, and hamstring isometrics are all great exercises for this.
.
2) attack the ground on the third phase contacts don’t just meet it, attack the ground. Being active through contact will help Quinn rebound off it and Cary momentum. Quinn does this well in his second, and there’s room for improvement in his third
