Our absolutely perfect baby shower 🍼🍒🥤🎀

We are so overwhelmed by the amount of love from the people who continuously show up for us. Zoe is so blessed to be completely surrounded by people who already adore her 🥺 we read through every single book with thoughtful messages from grandparents, tios, tias and I just can’t believe this is our life. You all made me SOB 😭

A special shout out to my stepmom, Barb who planned this day for months (and probably years). From the little details to the dirty soda bar, everything was amazing 🩷 Another huge thank you to my mommy, dad, and mother in law who made this day possible. This baby has the BEST most supportive Grandparents in the world 🥰

Yesterday was about community

I had the pleasure of leading a run for @lululemon Vernon Hills on Sunday and it was one the greatest experiences. Seeing people choose to show up and run and meet people and foster community is special. The best part was listening to our community’s reasons for coming, whether it be a return to fitness or an upcoming event all of it is inspiring.

For me personally the support the store and community gave me was massive. @scarrrls and Lupe seeing the potential in me to lead, @therealjumpmanjay and @elsiejrivera taking photos and videos, and @arimafes_ creating the flyer and content to support and document the event. Without them I don’t know if I’d have taken this step.

Can’t wait for the next one Vernon Hills!
