Got to celebrate my 30th birthday with some of my closest friends and family last night (plus some who were there in spirit, both metaphorically and literally 🌝) and I truly feel like one of the luckiest girls alive. After losing my dad in 2016 and my best friend Sav in 2022, there were some times where I wasn't sure I would make it this far, or even wanted to. But I can say that I'm so happy to be here and truly so blessed to have the support system that I do - I've met the most amazing people over the past few years, and continued strengthening friendships I made way back in high school (or diapers, shout out my brother), and I have never felt more loved, loving, and fulfilled in life.

And even though I said no gifts, I received some of the most beautiful, thoughtful, and handcrafted presents last night. (I'm just an alt, makeup, perfume, and press on loving girly who runs, sews, rides motorcycles, plays dnd, loves sharp objects, and listening to metal bands ☺️). I have never felt more seen, loved, and understood than I did last night, and I'm so grateful everyday to have friends and family as thoughtful and wonderful as mine.

Special thank you to my mom and Amber Rose for helping me set up, and my Aunt Tammy for letting me host at her house.

Edit to add a little story - the perfume in the last slide belonged to Sav (gifted to me by her older sister Alex, along with her Dyson hairdryer 💕). She'd layer them often and they still smell just like her. Half of my workout wardrobe is her lulu and gaiam and alo tops, and I have an art piece she made in high school hanging on my wall. I carry her heart with me wherever I go, and I'll never stop telling the world about her. I feel her love shining through all the beautiful people I've met since, and really think she sent me many earth angels. So thank you Sav girl, I love you big 💗

If you're still reading this, ily and just wanna say, "we cannot do all the good the world deserves, but the world deserves all the good we can do." And I find goodness and love in each and every one of these beautiful people, and I can't wait to see what my 30s has in store 💜💜
