As we wrap up our first week at Empigo Academy, we’re thrilled by the energy and enthusiasm from our students!

This week was filled with engaging sessions and hands-on workshops, laying a strong foundation for our journey ahead.

Reflecting on Isaiah 40:31, But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…”, we are reminded of our mission to uplift and empower every student.

each one of these people have impacted me for the better. although some closer than others, they each have loved me well, made me smile, helped me grow, and shown me God’s love. they’ve encouraged me & built me up —1 Thessalonians 5:11 and they spur me on toward love and good works—Hebrews 10:24. whether we hangout often or have had just a few intentional conversations, I am thankful for each of you. thank you for making me feel loved & seen & known, and for pushing me closer towards the Lord. love you all, I already miss ya 🤍

I am so grateful I had this opportunity to go and be the light of God halfway across the world. To be able to go with the people I went with and grow those relationships that I never knew I needed was something else. To see another culture other than my own, to put a smile on kids faces even with a language barrier, to put my trust in our bus driver to get us safely through all the crowded streets of Egypt and only being able to say a few words of Arabic to him. Creating wonderful relationships with our Egyptian friends at wellspring, to have a jaw dropping time with opportunities like seeing the pyramids, riding camels🐪 scuba in the Red Sea and hiking mount Sinai to see the sunrise. All though we had fun with tourists things. The best thing was being the light of God to the people of Egypt. While the book for Egypt may seem closed, I know for a fact it was only the first chapter. Egypt 🇪🇬, you will always have a special place in my heart along with its people.

Hey guys! So last time we talked I have been to this little country called Egypt. I don’t know if any of y’all have heard of it, but it’s a pretty big deal to do with the history of mankind. Link Year took us to not only get to see the pyramids and experience a different culture, but to further the kingdom of God. Being in Egypt was so far out of my comfort zone sometimes I couldn’t see straight. Through that stretching and constant growing he showed me that my life is not about me and that I am beyond blessed with where He has put me in life. Yes with basic things like getting to eat a salad with fresh fruit on it, but also getting to share the gospel freely! I can walk up to anyone off the street and share the gospel and the only thing stopping me is myself. That is CRAZY to think about. Not to mention the stacked group of people I got to travel with. People that genially love the Lord and truly cannot wait to go on mission and share the gospel with the whole word!! I could go on and on about the relationships I’ve made with these people and they alone made this trip worth wild. There are so many stories that I’ve lost count. To coaching volleyball with Chloe to scuba diving in the Red Sea and to protecting our hearts and eyes from a belly dancer. I am forever thankful for what God taught me and very excited to use that new perspective to further the kingdom in America!
