Hard to really put into words what the weekend meant to us, but we want to thank everyone who came out to Cool Sun Fest 🌞

We are about community first and foremost, and you all brought the love and energy to power the sun ❤️‍🔥

A massive thanks to the artists who trusted in our vision, and a honourable mention to @wilknott, who filled in last minute for @dj_philsmart due to a family emergency.

A massive thank you to @ashercarpentry for literally conjuring the snake gods 🐍, @scenicwanderingfoods for fuelling the day with delicious food & @bigstrawberryvtg for providing the vintage goods.

& of course, big love and thanks to all our beautiful volunteers, helpers & fire twirlers 🔥

See you next year? 🤞🌕

Love Ali & Clea x

Here is a weekend I will never forget.
I had the chance to be a part of an incredible experience, learning traditional Japanese carpentry.
This 3-day course brought all of us together for this amazing workshop. Each individual brought so much knowledge, passion, love and care towards a common goal and we achieved it with a lot of pride and determination.
Thank you to all of the other carpenters who were a part of this project with me, I’ve learnt a lot from you. But also to Mitch from @japanesetoolsaustralia for being one of a kind; welcoming all of us to his little shop alongside two master carpenters and for his organisation on what is probably the best workshop I could’ve dreamed of.
And to Greg (@simpson_tcd) and Ryo (@ryo5610)for sharing their time and knowledge, with humour and respect for the amazing art that is Traditional Japanese Carpentry.

Arigatou gozaimasu !!
