Weekend plans = forced family fun because BOTH kids were home! 😂❤️

Tahoe never disappoints, and we are so lucky to have this beautiful place practically in our backyard. 🏔️

Lots of laughs, a little chaos, and quality time with my favorite people.

Feeling extra grateful for this little family of mine. ❤️

Wouldn't trade the forced fun for anything. 😉 Not ready to go back to the real world yet....

Happy 19th Birthday to our amazing Asher! 🎉❤️

It's hard to believe you're 19 already.

You are smart, adventurous, incredibly witty, and have a charm that makes everyone around you smile. Being handsome doesn't hurt either! 😉

Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. We couldn't be more proud of the person you're becoming.

We hope this year brings you everything you want, everything you need, and countless new adventures along the way.

Keep working hard, keep making us laugh, and keep being unapologetically you.

Happy Birthday, Asher! We love you more than you'll ever know.

These two. 🩷💙

For four weeks I had them under our roof again… and now they’re heading back to school and back to their lives.

Alexis is in the middle of choosing where she’ll go for physical therapy school and finishing her last semester of undergraduate studies. Asher is gearing up for his first collegiate lacrosse season and second semester in college.

We’re incredibly proud of them — they’re doing exactly what we raised them to do.

But my mom heart? It just wants them here where I can keep them safe from the world, from failure, from the hard stuff.

Having adult kids is the wild mix of humbled + joyful… cheering them on while missing them like crazy.

I’ll miss them so much, but I cannot wait to watch them grow and accomplish big things.

Tell me why it’s so much harder when they leave in January instead of August? 😭💙
