15 YEARS IN A ROW !!! 🖤💿⭐️

We are so grateful and excited to announce that Daddy Kool Records has been named @cltampabay’s Best of the Bay 2026: Best Record Store!

and for 15 years straight!??? WOW!!!

We also received a critic pick for ‘Best Record Store Day Festivities’ as well as an All-Star award!🥇

Thanks so much to everyone who voted, has shopped with us, been out to our shows and events, and to those of you who have consistently supported us through the odds and ends of the last 40 years of business.

Continue to support local music, physical media, vinyl culture, and the community we love 🖤🖤💿⭐️

Come celebrate with us TONIGHT with free live music outside of the shop as a part of our Kool Down Series! Music starts at 8 🎶

“The All-Star honors recognizes 37 long-standing individuals, groups, or institutions that have repeatedly won awards over the years and made a lasting, positive impact on the cultural fabric of the Tampa Bay Area.”
