I love making these recap posts because I think it is very easy to forget what you can or have accomplished in a whole year. It is important to reflect on past achievements so you can be proud of and kind to yourself. I have been especially harsh on myself recently because I am stuck in a bit of creative rut, but looking back on the year made me realize that I have so much time this coming year to create and accomplish many new things.

After many years of balancing my academics with creating content, I am looking forward to finally pursuing my passion in photography and filmmaking full time! I hope you stick around as I am looking forward to seeing what this year brings us!

Second year at Kando, and this time it was all about the people. Last year was a whirlwind for me, so many new faces, so much to take in. This year, the vibe was more intimate and honestly, more meaningful. The best captures this year weren’t on camera, but in the conversations I had. It was about reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, sharing laughs and life behind the lens. Sometimes the best part of a creative journey is just being present together.

Huge thanks to @sonyalpha and @SonyElectronics for creating a space where we can connect, recharge, and be inspired. I love this community, until next time! 💙

Honestly I wasn’t sure I was going to post a reel about it but I went home and went through the footage and hearing Janice & friends say: “that’s our friend Colleen!!!” Really really moved me 🥺😭😭😭😭

I’m feeling so blessed to have support here - in a new city I just moved to.

SO many strangers said congrats & an old lady even HUGGGED MEEE (wish I got it on camera)

Thank you for your likes, comments, interactions, DM’s and support the past 2 years. This seemed like a “big deal” but the biggest deal is being able to do what I do everyday fr.
