Last Tuesday I turned 30 and I spent the last week celebrating!
Big shout out to my homegirls, my sister and my Grandma for showering me with love. Not a clue what’s in store for me this decade but I can feel the blessings already!
I want to specifically shout out @msdionne.a ! The First Lady who showed me in real time it’s super dope getting older.
Probably won’t be my last post this week but I just want to thank everybody. Truth be told I feel like the sun ☀️

One of the best trips home I ever had.
It’s always so interesting see how the collapse of US Society varies from state to state.
In New York people are completely controlled by consumerism. There is a numbness in the air to the stressors of daily life, with blatant class prioritization that is more evident than anywhere else.
In Denver, it was 70 degrees in December. There was no snowfall sitting on the mountain top with pride reassuring the lower land that it will be replenished in the spring. Yet, life goes on.
Grandparents get old, life goes on. Parents change, life goes on. Your friends get settled and more successful, life goes on. Some folks got single and some folks got married, and life goes on.
When you move away from everybody you love, you can forget that you have community and that is my source of lifeee.
I made it a good 11 months without daily consumption of Instagram, as you can imagine life was better.
But anyway i love you Colorado, this next one is for you.

Let me take a moment to shoutout a few people that helped make this possible because without yall, it wouldn’t have been as successful as it was. Mike the store manager at @ King soopers in highlands ranch donated lots of bakery items. Andrea the store manager @ Dunkin Donuts in highlands ranch donated the ENTIRE shelf of donuts, bagels, muffins and munchkins! Kim took time to create the flyer, donated money, helped make sandwiches and helped put in the footwork to get the word out! @dezoutside donated care kits with toothbrushes,toothpaste, shampoo/body wash and loaned me a table to use for the pop-up! Jasmine helped make the lunch bags, used her car to load all the item in, and helped pass out the food to the community! @ashhhleee_ donated funds to help purchase item and helped pass out bags to the people. Felicia went to Sam’s and helped purchase items that I needed in bulk! Olivia cleared her schedule to COME through with some well needed items at the LAST MIN!!! Rena donated funds to help for the cause, as she was out of town and couldn’t physically be present. @smokeinthecitydenver let me use the Sam’s card to buy all the essentials needed!! @spangalangbrewery allowed me to hold the cases of water in their freezer and use their ice machine for our coolers. Thanks @ericaiswright! And shoutout to @og.mg_ for all the moral support, late night phone calls and staying up with me while preparing all this! Last min shoutout to Alissa for her uplifting and encouraging words. Also for her desire to want to invest in me for future events!

Thanks to everyone that motivated me and supported me through this. I’m forever grateful for you. I love you all!

I don’t even have words right now other than I’m so freaking proud and inspired by my girl @mre4rmthe303 . You know, I almost chickened out and wasn’t going to audition but @mre4rmthe303 text me the day of auditions and made sure I was coming. I’m so thankful for that. The last 8 weeks being a part of this production has lit a new fire in me and brought me a tribe filled with so many incredible beings doing incredible things. I’ve tried playwriting, directing and now acting. I think it’s safe to say this is my fucking lane. I love theatre life. I love being an artist. I feel like my life path is finally starting to make sense. This is just the beginning for all of us 🙏🏽✨😍
