For the girls who love the game and the community around it🫶

A place to meet new people, make new friends, laugh a little louder, play a little more, and simply enjoy being together

Because the best part of the game is the people you share it with. ⚽️🩷

Last night, I attended the CHIRLA 40th Anniversary Immigrant Champion Awards at BMO stadium 🦋🏟️

CHIRLA was founded in 1986 to advance the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees.

CHIRLA became a place for organizations and people who support human rights to work together for policies that advance justice and full inclusion for all immigrants.

Last night, they honored the people, partners, organizers, artists, and champions who have helped build a more just society fully inclusive of immigrants.

Shoutout to @chirla_org for organizing this amazing event and @artemioreyes for inviting me to be part of it ❤️
