POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Forever grateful for this resource. 💚

If you’re interested in cultivating your capacity for deep connection with blood-lineage ancestors who are well in spirit, this space is for you. We will invoke their support for healing the whole ancestral line. The group meetings will include teaching, 2 guided ritual drop-ins, followed by time for sharing about what came forward and how the processes are unfolding.

We begin Tuesday. Registration closes this weekend.

Can’t wait to gather with you.

My favorite month at the center is finally here!

In October the veil is thinner, the vibes are cozier, the experiences feel richer, and the connections deeper.

Join us for one event or join us for all. We just can’t wait to be with you.

As we approach the season of the Dead, I want to share this gentle reminder that not all of our beloved dead are equally well in spirit.

Using discernment as we approach reconnection is vital, as we ourselves are the face of our lineages. Just as we can become stewards for their gifts to enter the world, we can also become channels for their unwellness at a spirit level.

As I see it, much of the world we’ve inherited is one big bundle of intersecting ancestral legacies, that haven’t necessarily been tended to — and thus perpetuate some of the unhealed patterns of those that came before us. This is nobody’s fault. Being human is complicated; so much is done in the name of survival.

And — we are ancestors ourselves, and we have choice in what we do with this one precious life. The trajectory of the future of our world is born of this choice — to be a “curse breaker” is actually to diverge from the momentum of those inherited stories, and carve a new path onwards. ❤️‍🔥

..:..

This is not meant to create fear; it is tender work. Treading carefully when connecting with any kind of spirit is necessary. The Ancestors just so happen to have more influence on our literal bodies as they are a part of us, and we are them. We carry their blessings & their burdens in our stead.

We also have choice as the face of our lineages, to walk in a way that creates healing both for the history and future of our people — and thus our world. This is the vitality of being intention in reconnection with our Ancestors; there is huge opportunity for growth, repair, and change at both a personal & collective level.

If you’re interested in doing this work and would like support, you know where to find me. Much love, kin. 🕯️🌘

Late sommar news 🕯️ as we near autumntide…

Beloveds, life is taking twists & turns by the day, is it not? May we catch these currents of change with grace. 🌊

Every time Leo Szn comes around, my 10th house reminds me that change is the only constant. This is especially true in my work — I have only ever been able to do what feels honest. Authenticity is good medicine.

And so, this season holds renewal as I give more focus to teaching & writing. I have other pieces to share in speak secret language to evade the Algol-rhythm…

Firstly, I have been giving much attention to Metalsmithing & drum/rattle making, which is the heart of my ritual practice. You can take a peek at @altar.ritual.arts or we can weave a cocreation, which I always love! ✨

Lots of opportunities to connect with Ancestors as we approach Autumntide ~
💀 in-person Lineage Healing magick in ROC NY for Samhain!❤️‍🔥
🕯️the Autumn series of (virtual) ancestor circles commences in Sept & Oct!🦇
You know where to find the door to enter… 🪞🔗

I’m also scheming a few group rituals, keep an eye out for that in the coming months. It feels as important as ever to find ways to gather amidst uncertainty. ✨

I will have very limited availability for 1:1 magick into the Dark Months, with a preference for asynchronous divination & ancestral lineage healing. Still cookin, just slower as I rebalance my energy 🦇

And of course, my weekly Altar of Stars 🌌 Sübst@ck musings will always be a tended resource, with rituals & tarot for the New & Full Moon. 🙏🏼🤍 THANK YOU for your generous support of that space!!!

Big love to you all. Thank you for the myriad of ways you support my work, seen & unseen. 🫀 stay tuned in the months to come for opportunities to gather! ✨

MAY ECLIPSE SZN BE GENTLE W YOU ⚔️🖤🦅

ANCESTRAL LINEAGE HEALING INTENSIVE ❤️‍🔥
Samhain Weekend • Rochester NY
October 30th - November 1st

Friends! It is time to gather.
Join us for a 3-day Lineage Healing Intensive, led by Ashley Waverley & Teagan West 🧿
@ashley.waverley

Our time will be filled with Teaching, Practices & Group Ritual to tend the threads of personal & collective healing. We will deepen into ritually safe, guided connection with our Ancestors & tend to the Cultural wounds held by the larger community container. ❤️‍🔥

Together we will move through the Ancestral Lineage Healing process developed by @danielfoor, guided by a team of trained ritualists & practitioners. This intensive is not a professional training, but an experiential container where you will walk away with the tools to develop lifelong connection to your own blood lineage Ancestors.

We’ll gather in the parlour of the Historical Perkins Mansion, perfectly suited for a weekend-long Samhain Ancestral Ritual :) 🦇 this intensive is non-residential, both local & out of town folx are encouraged to join us!

Rochester is ripe for this kind of work, at the intersection of so many threads of history & culture. We will tend to both the deeply personal AND larger place-based context as part of this work, addressing cultural wounds and moving towards repair.

Spaces will fill fast! Scholarships are available, as well as the option to sponsor a seat for Seneca or BIPOC+ attendees. Reach out with interest! ❤️‍🔥🦅

3 month plans end on AUGUST 1st!!! Join us 🖤🌌⚡️
Find more info thru @altar.teagan.west or @ashley.waverley if interested!

I often think about how much magic is baked into the floors here at Resonance.

These floors have held so many tired bodies. Touched so many bare feet. These floors have been covered in herbs, tea, wax from ceremonial candles, cacao, and oils. These floors have held space for deep healing and connection. These floors have heard the wisdom of so many different teachers, traditions, and practices. They’ve silently supported folks as they learned to listen to their bodies and come home to themselves.

I’m so grateful for this space and the energy that it holds. And even more grateful for all the amazing people who have taught here and helped to fill this space with such goodness.

If you are interested in bringing your gifts to Resonance, send us a message. We have individual and group space available for rent. And some seriously special floors to support all the good work that you do. 🫶
