As much as it was the place, it was really the people.

I moved 1,232 miles with the fullest intent to have the “normal” college experience. Normal meaning rushing a sorority, partying, etc. And so I did, but I was left empty. In that emptiness, I met Jesus. He met me in the valley. He showed me there was another way to live, where joy comes naturally. When we live cohesively with how we were created, the temporary pleasures of the world fade. There is life to be lived when you meet Christ.

Jesus then brought me to each and every one of these women. These girls have walked through these four years with me. They have spoken life over me, filled me with encouragement to pursue a life of purity and peace. Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. We have rejoiced, cried, and sought Christ with our fullest hearts. Proverbs 17:17: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity”. I see Jesus in each and everyone of you and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has planned for your lives.

A true love letter to Florida Atlantic University 🦉🌴 but more importantly to you girls 💌
