April's fool🌱

I'm good at staying busy because I have so many things I want to do, much more I need to do, and conveniently, surviving has been my entire existence, so being in a constant state of flux feels normal. But that means time flies by so quickly and even if I'm present in my moments, they become a blur of experiences and emotions and colors. The details melt away in my recollection. And that's why my phone storage is always full: from capturing as much as I can so I can piece the time back together in my mind and feel it all.

In this era of survival, don't forget to live. Whatever that means to you.

I'm always trying to be more of who I want to be. To explore and have adventures and pursue the dreams I had for myself as a kid. Because it's so easy to forget that life is already happening *right now*, concurrently while we want more, while we have goals, while we aren't exactly where we want to be.

I want more, I have goals, I'm not even close to where I want to be. Practicing gratitude and presence though, helps me actually stay connected to my life when it so often doesn't feel real. Allowing me to ground into every here and now (even if I may need the help of a photo to remember everything fully), so that when I reflect, I can embody the life I am living and the me-est me I am evermore becoming

It's not quite how I thought it'd be, but my 16 year old self is really proud that this is my life, and that I am who I want to be.

Confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can wear.

And Ashley SMASHED her session with the level of confidence she bought! We were thrilled to celebrate her and help her see herself in such a powerful way. Boudoir sessions are all about embracing who you are and feeling amazing about it, and this session was a perfect example of that.

Thank you, Ashley, for trusting us with this experience. If you’ve ever thought about doing a boudoir session, now’s the time – it’s an unforgettable way to celebrate YOU! 🌹✨ #boudoir #boudoirmakeup #hamptonroads #empower #confidence #debbieleanneportraits #celebrateyourself #selflove
