Pro dancer Kennan Glanz shares how the film excerpts by Greg MacGillivray contribute to the creative process, connecting the Summer Stage theme, WE the People, to a larger purpose.

Our deepest gratitude to our donor board, who help made this dream of a 3-week artist residency in beautiful Laguna Beach possible. Such incredible opportunities available to professional, college-age, and high school dancers alike to have a professional company experience, and to be a part of something larger than themselves.

It’s sure to be an incredible night of dance & community. For one night only, Jodie Gates & Peter Chu debut new work at the Laguna Playhouse on Sunday, August 9th at 7 PM. Ticket link in bio for you - hope to see you there!

wow, what a week!! I literally don’t think I could’ve finished my competitive journey any other way. Big thanks to all the teachers at @pressplay for the guidance and the uplifting environment. To receive Top 25 artist of the year and Top 4 Tap specialty artist among all the amazing talent was a blessing. To all the artists I met in the room, you guys made this nationals one I will never forget, thank you for sharing your passion and dedication to dance.

To all my teammates, teachers and parents at @artandsouldc7, I’m so sad to end this journey with you guys. These past 3 years have fulfilled me more than I could imagine and allowed me to enjoy all the moments and memories we’ve had together. I can’t thank you enough for all the teachings and lessons I will bring with me forever, they will always be held tight in my heart.

To @stephviola and Ms.Andrea, I cannot thank you guys enough for everything. You’ve encouraged me and provided your insight and guidance through my dance journey and I cannot thank you enough, love you both.
