✨ Women’s Art Week with @firstfemalepb ,a moment I’ll carry with me for a long time.

Curating this arts panel was one of the most meaningful experiences of my journey so far. We sat together and had the most beautiful, honest conversations about arts, diversity, equity, inclusion, and what it truly means to be a woman of color in creative spaces. From Palm Beach County all the way down to Miami, these voices matter.

These conversations are necessary, especially right now, when so much is being dismantled. We are building the table. We are having the conversations and sharing them with this community.

Endless gratitude to the brilliant women who joined me on this panel 🤍 Thank you to Gaby Viteri, founder of @firstfemalepb , for making this a part of Women’s Art Week. And a huge thank you to Creative Art School at Old School Square and Pamela Solares for hosting and holding space for this community.

This is just the beginning of my curatorial journey, amplifying voices, honoring culture, creating space. I love community. 🌸

I am honored to share that I have successfully defended my research study and completed my Doctor of Education(Ed.D.) in Leadership and Innovation at Purdue University Global. My research explored how teacher diversity—particularly the presence of Black educators—influences student engagement and literacy outcomes.
This journey has deepened my commitment to advancing equity and representation in education and strengthening systems that support student success.
I am grateful to my family, professors, and colleagues for their encouragement and support, which helped make this achievement possible.
I look forward to continuing this work as Dr. Dawn Bozeman, championing equitable, inclusive educational environments where all students can thrive.

THE SPACE WE MAKE: Women of Color in the Arts

Thank you @creativeartsschooldelray for hosting this essential conversation, and to @amayaestradaart for curating such an insightful panel. I loved sharing my experiences as a female founder and leader of color. Thanks to my fellow panelists. Hearing your perspectives and stories was truly inspiring.

I’m proud that our WOMENS ART WEEK programming highlights diversity and that so many of our guests felt seen with the space we created. I walked away even more certain of how vital it is to make spaces for these meaningful conversations. These moments continue to remind me of the importance of community and that when we come together, share our stories, and support each other, real change becomes possible.

One week ago, The Palm Beach Picnic by @habitatgpbc came to life in the most beautiful way

An event like this is only possible when community and collaboration are at the forefront — and I’m so grateful for the trust to help shape such a special day.

Grateful to every model who said yes to walking the runway — from artists to history docents, to our tourism and nonprofit leaders. A true reflection of the heart of Palm Beach! 💛💛💛
