SHOW REVIEW: Pretty Woman The Musical👠🇿🇦 _Rating:_ ★★★★★ 5/5 A BROADWAY DREAM COME TRUE❤️✨ On the 14th of May, I watched Pretty Woman The Musical at Montecasino's Teatro — and what a night! 😍 Hollywood's favourite love story came to life in Johannesburg! 💃 Based on the iconic 1990 film with Julia Roberts & Richard Gere, this Broadway hit was everything! 🔥 THE CAST (FORECAST): 🎤🌟 An all-South African powerhouse of 24 cast + 6-piece live band! 🎸 - Leah Mari as Vivian Ward — vibrant, funny and full of heart 🥹❤️ - Christopher Jaftha as Edward Lewis — pure charisma and charm ✨ - Thuto Lesedi Gaasenwe as Kit De Luca - Tiaan Rautenbach as Happy Man / Hotel Manager - Daniel Conradie as Philip Stuckey THE MUSIC:🎼 Amazing! Music and lyrics from Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance 🎸✨ Original pop-rock hits plus the iconic "Oh, Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison 🎶 Beautiful ballads, rock anthems and pure Broadway magic — I was humming all the way home! THE PRODUCTION:🎬 World-class! 👏 Beautiful cinematic lighting 🎆, dazzling costumes 👗✨, high-energy choreography 💃 and seamless staging — it felt like a real Hollywood movie on stage!
