Your bridal stylist isn’t just your hype girl — she’s the one tracking your gown, managing your order, and making sure it’s perfect for your big day. 💌 Here are a few things your stylist wishes you knew before your appointment 👇✨
1️⃣ Budget:
Be upfront! Your stylist wants to respect your budget — but they can only do that if they know it. Let them know if there’s a cap or wiggle room so they can pull gowns that fit your vision and your price. 💫
2️⃣ Emotions:
Dress shopping is emotional. Guests see a fashion show — but for you, it’s personal. Trust yourself and your feelings; this is your journey and your decision. 🤍
3️⃣ Sizing:
Bridal sizing is different! You may be 2–3 sizes up from your street size — and that’s totally normal. Your stylist’s goal? The best fit with the least alterations. 👗
4️⃣ We’re excited too!
Your stylist is just as thrilled for your “yes” moment as you are. This isn’t just sales — it’s a passion. We love what we do, and seeing you find your dress is as special for us as it is for you. ✨

FASHION WEEK SD MODEL casting call is TOMORROW! For more information please head to @fashionweeksd 🦋

this photo was taken 4 years ago but what transpired still is fresh like it was just yesterday the design is truly captivating as I'm still inlove🤍 the term “Pearl of the Orient” comes from the natural beauty of the Philippines and its abundant source of pearls models @jaennaration @ashleytayloo wearing hand beaded pieces from top fashion designer @beacruzph Vivirá Fall 2020 collection — A modernized history-infused sheer and silky silhouettes to add a sensual and feminine touch published in a french magazine @malviemag captured by @shotbyxizeng

it's not about just making beautiful clothes it's the story behind creating that makes it timeless.. and what's "trending" as trend is just fleeting viewed to be temporary like fast fashion what's pushed aggressively for fake clout which is to satisfy instant self gratification never fulfilled nor satisfied as we fill our lives with garbage to feel relevant in the end still worthless caught in the idea of beauty with no depth.

It's very rare nowadays to create an authentic story as everything is driven by social media likes when beauty should be felt through taking the time to learn the story behind a design as it truly is moving and all so inspiring at the same time when it tells a story —handmade pieces that takes time because it is made to last starting from the fabric a pineapple handwoven piña silk hand beaded pearls beading of red blue yellow that relates to the colors of our flag those are just the stories intricately woven this Filipina designer makes me all so proud of the history of where I'm from 🇵🇭 truly a well deserved win for fashion designer @beacruzph

As bridal+wedding stylist, I love how wedding styledshoots can truly push the boundaries of brides and create new concepts for fresh ideas+inspiration and I honestly don't understand doing the same old thing everybody does just because it is"trending" no originality as they copy the exact photo of an exact wedding dress design or the exact table design down to the ingredients of flowers from a photo they found on pinterest and following a trend I think is all so pretentious if there is no authentic meaning nor connection to a personal story or try to even understand a concept of creating being inspired is one thing🪽 I owe it to @fashionweeksd for opening the endless possibilities of creating with amazing designers, one of which was my recent collaboration with designer she brought the vision made something sculptural+drapey as I was imagining the ancient mesopotamian era mainly "clay pots"as the inspiration thought of The Ancient Greeks made pots from clay —as the florist mentioned she'll be incorporating pots as part of the main set up i was imagining my favorite greek mythology character the goddess Athena and I was thinking of helen of troy, this modern version is truly post worthy for the aesthetic as it matches the hanged drapes she is one with the background —talk about a major wedding trend these days drapery but please hire a professional to do the draping that's why not everyone passed drapery in fashion school also not all sewers can drape right it is tedious and not everyone can do it right also when it's not hanged properly there is a moment how it reminds me of a hanged bed sheets some may say it's nostalgic even as a child I've always find it disturbing and highly inappropriate to see personal items that are being hanged in the front yard to dry for everyone to see cringe moments for sure but for sustainability sake it's a great way to save electricity and so we did hang clothes to dry but in the backyard #onlyinthephilippines
