This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling deeply grateful for the heart of Finishing Touch - my couples and the incredible vendors I’m lucky enough to work alongside. 🧡

To my couples: thank you for inviting Finishing Touch into your wedding day. Being part of your love story is a privilege I treasure more than words can say.

To the talented vendors who bring each celebration to life: your creativity, collaboration, and friendship make every “finishing touch” possible. I’m so thankful for this community.

There’s a season of reflection, and a small announcement, coming soon, but today my focus is simply gratitude. Wishing you all a warm and joyful Thanksgiving filled with love, connection, and moments worth celebrating. ✨

It’s wild to me.
.
.
I didn’t used to be, but I trained myself to be a morning person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So much that I loathe waking up when it is getting light outside. I am wasting my day if I don’t get up before the sun does.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If the sun is up, I should be too! That is also why I hate naps so much. It feels so lazy. And I have way too much to do to be lazy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
BUT! I also go to bed early. If I could, I would go to bed at 8pm. And let me tell you, I sleep like a baby.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With all that said, is that weird? I feel like this is very Enneagram 3 of me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I saw on a story that someone wakes up at 6:15am everyday and I couldn’t believe anyone could sleep in that long on a work day!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, that used to be me! I hated getting up early. My daughter started a morning choir class, 2 years ago, and that meant that we had to leave our house at 6:15. I remember I could not believe that if I wanted to work out and read my scriptures I would have to wake up and be downstairs by 5am. That is what changed it all!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love my morning routine! Is anyone else a strict morning routine person?
