Pursuit and Play 🌅

Pt.1 BOLD FACE lives in the fire of determination — driving for the next goal on the horizon, even knowing it might burn. The grind is real, the wins feel distant, and that’s when you start craving escape.

Pt.2 RUN is the body breaking from the grind. Seeking freedom, remembering how to breathe, embracing the unpredictable — moving on intuition over intention.

Step away from expectation. Return to yourself. That’s where the spark lives.

New stuff in the works for @focofringefest 🙌🏾✨ So excited to premiere “Pursuit and Play”, a new piece featuring dancers from @impulsecontemporary

I couldn’t have made this happen without these wonderful dancers, the space provided by @impulse_dancefitness, and the mentorship of @nadiaj_duncan and @theamygsmith

✨ Meet new ICC member Ashling Brady! ✨

Ashling Brady grew up in Ireland beginning her dance training at age 7, with a background including contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, and ballet. Her love for teaching started in 2012 working with college dance teams competing in Ireland's Dance Intervarsities. She continued her teaching career at Phoenix Performing Arts College from 2018 until her move to the states, where she had the pleasure of teaching and choreographing for young adults looking to pursue a career in performing arts.

Ashling progressed to work professionally as a dancer and choreographer for XOD Entertainment Agency in 2017, while teaching for various dance schools in the east of the country. Some of her previous work also includes choreographing for Breast Cancer Ireland’s Battles of the Stars in 2017 and as choreographer and stage manager for Kevin Rowe Events. During her time working in the entertainment industry, she also used her love of photography to take headshots and videos.

Ashling joined her sister at Impulse Dance and only wishes she did sooner! She has loved her time here and is excited to join Impulse Contemporary Co. Moving country was a big change, but being with a group of people who share a love and joy for dance is a little piece of home!

So glad you're here, Ashling! 🫶🏼
