From a dream to reality✨

I will be graduating as a Medical Doctor, and its starting to sink in. 👩🏽‍⚕️🎓

Today, I remembered little Bala’s dream. There was a time when it seemed like it would remain just that “a dream”. After all, I had to start university from the beginning three different times.

Looking back, I thank God for everything that happened along the way the good and the bad. Every challenge strengthened my faith and reminded me that with God, nothing is impossible.

“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” — Job 22:28

This journey has taught me to keep dreaming, keep believing, and keep trusting God.

Because now I know: dreams do come true. ❤️

Hi guys, it’s Dr. Bala here. 👩🏽‍⚕️🩺😆

Yep, I’m finally done with medical school. 🎓

Six years somehow felt like much more. The journey was definitely not easy- the studying, the late nights, the exams, and the days filled with so much doubt, wondering if I was even capable🤦🏽‍♀️🥲. There were moments I felt completely overwhelmed and wanted to give up, but I didn’t.

From COVID, to surviving a war, to changing schools and even countries, this journey came with challenges I never imagined when I started.

Yet, despite all the hardships, it was also incredibly fulfilling. Along the way, I kept growing into a person I genuinely love. I learned, I laughed, I cried, and I made memories that will stay with me forever.

I certainly didn’t do this alone. I was surrounded by amazing friends, classmates, mentors, and my family who supported me through every season.

Most importantly, God has been so good to me. Everything I have achieved is by His grace. By my strength alone, this would not have been possible. The One who began a good work in me has been faithful to complete it. ❤️

Honestly, this caption is just the tip of a very large book that is my medical school journey. 😂

Would I do it all again? Of course not. 😂😂

Next time I’ll be a tech girl, a business administrator, or literally anything else.

But I guess for now, I’m stuck with medicine. 😭😂

The journey is still far from over, but today I’m taking a moment to celebrate this milestone and how far I’ve come.

I don’t know exactly what lies ahead, but I intend to face it with faith, boldness, gratitude, and enthusiasm.

Here’s to new beginnings. 🥂✨
