Fall Frenzy Weekend in the books. Kylie planned a girls fall weekend for us even had an itenrary. We painted pumpkins, made blankets, ate cookies and good food played train dominos and threw in some thrifting and bought a homecoming dress. Kylie did second guess the difficulty of the blanket making though. We left tired with our hearts and bellies full of good food and lots of laughter and maybe some game trash talking… it happens with a competitive family.

Everything I know about golf I learned from Happy Gilmore ⛳️.
And Team Woodson took first!

Libby really did an amazing job of organizing this whole event. Such a proud mom in law to watch her vision come to life. 💕

This is 46.
45 gave me grey hair, the sweetest friendships and two new titles- nurse and Honey.
Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes and thank you to these people who got off work and waited with us for 2 hours to get a table because we forgot how much people like to celebrate my birthday😜
To the ones who live far away I know I would have had that whip cream on all sides of my face if y’all were there 😂
The weather and the band made it a nice wait though.

I read a few days ago something that really stuck with me and so much of it is true. When I started out raising a daughter i really thought I was raising a reflection of myself, but then you began to find your voice and your bravery became apparent. You were definitely not my reflection I never had your bravery at such a young age. I’m sure this has a lot to do with being the youngest of five. You are softer in your heart but stronger in your stance. You have never shrunk or asked for permission. You are chaos and light and strength. I hope you alWays laugh in rooms that try to quiet you. Wear what makes you feel like sunshine and never second guess your light because someone couldn’t handle your brightness. Never mistake being chosen for being cherished. I hope you always have people in your life who love you big and loud like you love them. May you never settle because the world tells you you’re too much, too loud or too complicated or too hard to love.

Parenting teens isn’t easy when you’re truly showing up. At 4, you promised I’d always be your best friend—at 14, that felt like a fairy tale. But we made it. Through tears and growth, we both learned it was our first time too—and that promise still holds.
Happy birthday to my best friend… who still calls me hers.

(Also huge appreciation to those who braved the Festival traffic to celebrate! 3 flights of stairs, shuttle and all)
