Marathon not a sprint - So lucky to have a great support system this week! it’s been a lot of nap when i can, study when i can & stay healthy so i don’t get sick!

With flu season coming around it’s only a matter of time until the whole house is running around all germy 😷

cute guest appearance from @lillian_gymnastics_13 and @ashmithas2026 😊#medschool #medicine #medtok #medicalstudent #medical

Since 4th grade, I’ve always said I wanted to be an anesthesiologist. The more I excelled with running, the more curious I became with metabolic systems. After joining the Air Force at 18… I was quickly drawn to service towards others. The last decade, I’ve felt torn between this idea of science and continuing my service for the underprivileged, underserved, those who can’t advocate for themselves. I didn’t think this journey would be possible, but by the grace of God he knew it was my time.

I couldn’t be doing this journey without my amazing husband, parents and in-laws, family, friends, and dozens of mentors who have prepared me for this rollercoaster. For those who’ve been here for this unconventional journey of mine; thank you.

While the dream is no longer JUST anesthesia, I’m excited to see what path the Lord has in store for me and our family. “Here I Am. Send me!”

Also why they make the white coat during nap time? 😅 #medschool #medicalschool #medicine #medstudent #medicalstudent
