Bella’s last dance competition. ❤️

I don’t quite know where to begin or how to put this into words, but I will try.

First, I want to thank the people who have played such a massive part in her competition journey.

It all began with her first solos, taught by Melissa Priolo. From travelling to Queensland for Showcase to watching her grow on stage each year, those memories will stay with us forever. Thank you, Melissa, for the continued love and support you have always shown Bella.

It truly takes a village. From when she started dancing at just two years old until now, so many teachers have played an important part in her journey. To each of you, thank you for everything you have shared with her along the way.

A turning point for Bella was Ashleigh Perrie. The bond you two share is something that is hard to put into words, and your journey together has been incredible. The countless hours, care and attention to detail you put into every routine have always been evident on stage. Beyond the choreography, you have taught her so much about professionalism and the importance of every detail, helping shape her into the dancer she is today. Thank you for being such an incredible role model and for continuing to guide and inspire her.

Sometimes it is hard being both mum and dance teacher. As a mum, you always see your child as special. As a dance teacher, every now and then you come across a student with that X-factor—something you can’t quite explain, but you feel it the moment they step onto the stage.

Bella, that is you.

I am incredibly proud of you and the love and joy you bring to every performance. Watching you dance has brought me more happiness than I could ever put into words, and I will miss seeing you on that competition stage.

But fingers crossed, the next stage will be an even bigger one, with new opportunities and dreams waiting for you.

Love you to the moon and back. ❤️
