🌸 Pinks & Corals Bookstack!

I saw @books.n.snakes posting color bookstacks and I was like YESSS so pretty, I miss these!

Lately I’ve been vibing with these colors, typically I’m not a pink girlie but come on these are all so pretty!

I’ve also miss the challenge posts where we tagged everyone to try, where have those gone? Did the repost option replace them?

Anyways…tagging a few friends to post their own color bookstack, you pick the color! 🫶🏼 And if you see this I’m also challenging you!

This whole stack also happens to be on my physical TBR, which one should I read first?

For the baddies who recommended last year…I’m sorry I didn’t get through them all but they still on my tbr! 💕

I think I am going to start with Left of Forever first because it’s calling to me! But first I’m going to finish Rook of Ruin!

🫶🏼 Thank you ladies!

Which one of these have ya’ll read?

December Bookstack 📚

❄️ Happy Winter Solstice!

Shortest day and longest night, soon the sun will warm our faces longer and longer with each coming day.

And our seasonal sadness will slowly melt away.

My friend @candiceharper_hndz sent me this interesting winter solstice ritual that includes setting 13 intentions for the New Year and I plan on writing mine out today.

I’ll share the reel to my story if anyone wants to check it out.

Today feels heavy for me and I’m hoping and praying this New Year brings clarity and peace not just for me but for everyone. As life just feels hard right now and I know I’m not alone in that.

And it’s not all bad, I actually feel very hopeful and I am optimistic but it’s also okay to sit in the heaviness and feel the lows.

Anywaysssss…. Silent Night is my favorite Christmas song and Feliz Navidad is a close second.

What’s your favorite Christmas song?

Tagging some friends for the December bookstack challenge but feel free to join in!

I wish you all a peaceful and joyful Holiday season.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee boiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

That’s it! LOL After the morning I’ve had and then a dentist appointment (no cavities I just don’t like the dentist) I got to pick this bad boy up!

If I missed you as a fellow Kingfisher lover comment below so I can add you to my mental list of people to spam once a month has passed and we’ve all had enough time to read! 😘

11 Before The End ✨

Alright, I may have said I wasn’t going to do one of these because I am 100% certain I will not be able to complete this task (cough mood reader problems) but…

My physical TBR is out of control! So here’s 11 physical books I am hoping to finish by the end of 2025.

Don’t ask my why I had to pull one more from the shelf but Cash was calling to me!

What about you? What books do you wanna squeeze in before the end?

Tagging some book babes but no pressure!

Book Mail Monday 💌

🎯 Well all of these arrived in the mail except for Dear Reader by @tatejamesauthor which I picked up at Target on a whim the other week. I thoroughly enjoyed the Madison Kate series and thought this would be up my alley.

Psycho Shifters by @jasminemasbooks was part of my bday present from my sister, the new cover was released last week and it’s so pretty! I can’t wait to read this one as I was a big fan of Blood of Hercules! And look at those sprayed edges! 😍

Georgia by @e.l.stevens was gifted to my by the sweet and kind @ashreadthis and I’m stoked to read! So many of my favorite book babes rave about this series, it’s time to end the FOMO. Thank you Ash! 🤍

✨ Lastly, my @betweentheink.co x @filthyfawn order arrived, I shared a reel already but these deserve to be seen again. The quality is stunning and I’m for real obsessed with the pickle bookmark! Great collab babes!

I have two books I need to finish, but I think I might start one of these. I’m fully in my mood reader era, who am I kidding I never left! 😅

What are y’all reading? 📖

📚Word Challenge

@theferalhousewivesbookclub tagged me in this and assigned the word DAHLIA, how did I do?

Okay I know I cheated on the “I” but we are going to pretend “the” doesn’t count. 😉

These are actually ALL on my physical TBR. It’s getting a little out of hand to be honest. LOL 😂 Have you read any of these?

I’m hanging by the pool right now, attempting to read my ARCs. I hope you all had a lovely weekend! 🌺

💛Now it’s your turn for the word challenge, your word is: MARIGOLD!

Feel free to join in!

Monday Blues 🌀

I’m spiraling today y’all…oversharing rant incoming.

Everything is annoying me today. I’m mostly annoyed with myself because I didn’t move as much as I wanted to this weekend. And I barely got anything done of my to do list. Maybe I’m just in a funk becasue everything just feels sort of off. It’s not all bad though so I’m trying to stay positive and cling to the things that are bringing me joy.

🦋 So here’s some sources of joy:

- My last two reads were both 5 ⭐️ Broken Souls and Bones and Revive Me
- I’m absolutely digging Ice Planet Barbarians, send me all the alien/monster smut recs
- Hooked is just okay so far, but I’m only a few chapters in and having fun because it’s a buddy read with the sweet @thebookedpath
- Sunshine 🌞
- I get to go to a music festival this weekend and I’m looking forward to seeing Sublime, Rebelution, Cage the Elephant, Ice Cube, Benson Boone, E-40 and more!
- Andrew’s making yummy burgers tonight
- I’m like a week or so away from being able to go in pool again, tattoo is still healing and I’m still obsessed with it

Wow after writing all that I feel like I’m just being a little bitch lol.

What are you currently reading/looking forward to?

Little life/thought update inspired by @nocturnalnovelnook post she shared today. Love you Tori! 🫶🏼 Tagging a few friends if you wanna share summer book releases or life plans you are stoked for!

Side note: I had no clue who sleep token was until all y’all book babes hyped up their new album in your posts and I’m digging the songs I’ve heard so I gotta checkout their backlog!
