Saturday, 9/26/2026 7:00 AM @freshmonkee_austin Run Our first and certainly not last collab with the amazing folks at Fresh Monkee Austin, a new Truly Healthy Shakes place featuring a wide variety of healthy and protein-heavy coffee, smoothies, shakes, and juices, among other things. We loved our route that took us through our old stomping grounds - our state capitol building, the Bob Bullock star, the Blanton Art Museum, and Speedway through UT. We will do this again sooner than later!

We’ve got the Summer Series tonight and 6:30am community run tomorrow morning, so be ready for a quick turnaround, y’all! Join us as we kickoff the weekend a day early from Seaholm, review plans for ACL and get a few easy miles in together. All paces and distances are welcome (and encouraged) to join. We’ve got a dunk tank to get to, but very much looking forward to seeing y’all in the morning!

Look at go is running @chimarathon as a para athlete this year! I’m on week seven of training during the peak summer heat with cerebral palsy as a T38 athlete. I am learning so much about myself this training cycle- how heat affects my body, how to say enough is enough and when to say no, how to say my body is my body and that I do not have to run in 78 degree humidity and that a treadmill is okay. My body is different and I can adapt to make this a great second World Major Marathon. #cerebralpalsy #paraathlete #adaptiveathlete #adaptivesports #chicagomarathon

Last week was incredible, despite the rain, y’all showed up and we celebrated our favorite day of the year. Global Running Day! Shout out to everyone to came out and made the day possible from our vendors, the @statesmancap10k for partnering to put this on, @central.machine.works for the beer collab and space, you the runners, and all of our amazing volunteers and pacers! Extra big should to our ESBR Pacer team for all the extra work they did to help make this day special and a thank you to @dickssportinggoods for outfitting them in their new shirts. (Extra love to @follow_with_caution for screen printing these in house). This week we’re slowing it down and keeping it simple. Run, beer, relax! We can be a little chaotic, a little unorganized, but always striving for better and always open to ideas! We hosted our first ever DD Pacer meet up to chat about goals and plans for 2026! Your co-leads @joshonthetrail and @carly_bo_runs are super excited for what they have planned and even more excited to bringing in some fresh ideas from your pacers! We’ve added new pacers and pace groups this year including a walk/jog interval for those still wanting more than just a walk, but still not comfortable holding a pace for the time being. And we’re bringing in an 11:30 pace to create more space for our runners as well. We are still a no drop group that welcome runners of all levels and encourage you to follow us on our @strava as well. Join us on our first Wednesday night of the year this week at @central.machine.works starting at 6:30pm and meet your new pacers!
