QUICK FEET. CLEAN GLOVE. CANNON ARM! ⚾️🧤🚀🔥 Another AWESOME fielding session for Archie at DBat Celina with Coach Ashton! 💪⚾️ Today was all about getting those feet moving, attacking ground balls, fielding them clean, and FIRING THAT BASEBALL OVER TO FIRST! 🚀🔥 Coach Ashton had him moving FAST today! Quick footwork, getting low, staying in front of the ball, getting into a good throwing position, and LETTING IT RIP! 💨⚾️ And Archie was looking REALLY GOOD out there! 🧤💪 I love seeing how much more comfortable and confident he’s getting with his glove. He’s starting to understand that making a great defensive play isn’t just about catching the ball — it’s about moving your feet, getting your body in position, making a clean transfer, and throwing that ball HARD and ACCURATE! 🎯🔥 And the best part? HE’S HAVING A BLAST DOING IT! ❤️⚾️ At six years old, that’s what it’s all about. Learning the fundamentals, listening to your coach, working hard, and getting a little better every single day! Huge thanks to Coach Ashton for keeping Archie moving, challenging him, and helping him build those good habits one ground ball at a time! FAST FEET. SOFT HANDS. STRONG THROWS. MAKE THE PLAY! 🧤🚀🔥 Keep grinding, buddy! THE WORK IS SHOWING! ❤️⚾️ #ChiChiPlaysBall #DBatCelina #CoachAshton #YouthBaseball #InfieldWork

⚾️ Fielding: Emery working on his backhand catch with coach Ashton. This is a fairly new skill that he’s learning and he’s catching on pretty quick! He’s learning quick footwork, body control, and keeping the glove out in front. In no time, he’s going to have that smooth momentum with a strong throw to get that out!💥 #dbat #6ubaseball #littleleaguebaseball #baseballislife #texasbaseball

QUICK FEET. CLEAN GLOVE. BIG PROGRESS! ⚾️🧤🔥 Another great baseball lesson for Archie at DBat Celina with Coach Ashton! 💪⚾️ Today was all about putting in the work on the defensive side of the game — footwork, fielding ground balls, getting into the right position, and making clean plays! 🧤🔥 Coach Ashton had him moving those feet, staying low, getting his glove down, and learning how to attack the baseball instead of waiting for it to come to him. And Archie was doing a GREAT job! 💨⚾️ I love watching these little fundamentals start to come together. Getting his feet in the right position, staying balanced, fielding the ball cleanly, and building confidence with every rep! That’s how you become a better ballplayer! But what I love most is that Archie is still having a BLAST doing it! ❤️ At six years old, it’s all about listening to your coaches, working hard, learning the game, and having FUN along the way. Wednesday field work with Coach Ashton! ⚾️🧤🔥 Another really good baseball lesson for Archie at DBat Celina with Coach Ashton! Today they kept working on the defensive side of his game — fielding, catching on the move, footwork, and getting into a good position to make a strong throw. 💪⚾️ Archie had a GREAT day fielding the ball and making catches on the run, then getting his feet underneath him and firing it across the diamond. 🚀🧤 Love seeing Coach Ashton really focus on those throwing mechanics and teaching Archie how to use his whole body instead of just his arm. You can see those little fundamentals starting to come together more and more every lesson. At six years old, it’s all about good habits, lots of reps, listening to your coach, and having FUN! ❤️⚾️ Catch it. Set the feet. Wednesday work with Coach Ashton! ⚾️🧤🔥 Another great lesson for Archie at DBat Celina! Today was all about the defensive side of the game — fielding, catching, footwork, and throwing that baseball HARD! 💪⚾️ Coach Ashton had him putting in plenty of reps, and I loved seeing Archie attack the ball, get his feet underneath him, secure the catch, and then make a strong throw. That little arm was letting it fly today! 🚀 More than anything, I love watching him listen, learn, and keep working on the fundamentals.
