Thanksgiving! I really took the “no phones” rule to heart so, thanks for all my loved ones who shared pics with me. Just one of the 10 gazillion things I am thankful for these people for🩷

My favorite thing about the @flowermagazine Showhouse in Nashville…the PEOPLE! Such a treat to spend time with favorite designers and design lovers and esp. my family…can’t get any luckier on that front🩷 @flowermagazine #nashvilledesignershowhouse #nashvilleshowhouse #designershowhouse #flowershowhouse #nashville #janiemolsterdesigns

If you have an event in Nashville, you must use my friends at @import.flowersnashville. My meeting was followed my the most absolutely stunning @flowermagazine showhouse featuring designers and florists from the southeast. @janiemolsterdesigns @stephaniemolsterinteriors @coleyhome and @annalisadesign were my faves ☺️

Appropriate vibes for a Sunday…feeling so much gratitude and a restored faith in all the good people out there willing to help a stranger: This weekend my SUV completely failed me halfway through a 7-hour drive down I-95 South with two pieces of precious cargo in tow (featured in pic with their headphones on💙💙). I found myself on an interstate exit at the NC/SC border. The only thing in sight was a Waffle House in the distance. The three of us walked there and began to make a plan. Sketchy cell service, no Uber, no taxi, no rental car options, and no hotel (the Waffle House team said the local options weren’t family-friendly). AAA agreed to come tow the car but not us as no car seats in the front seat. How fast the world can derail in the middle of civilization! After hours of tireless efforts from home, my husband found a cab in another city who agreed to fetch us and take us to our location. My son also intercepted the cab during the journey for the victory lap to our destination. So grateful for the Waffle House team who scooped us up and offered a safe haven from the heat and endless breakfast treats. The manager offered to leave her shift and drive us an hour away to a “safe” hotel. Another kind soul saw me walking along the highway exit holding two little hands and followed me to Waffle House to see what she could do “I knew you were in trouble—it just didn’t look right”. So many kindnesses…so many people lending a hand. And my two precious passengers had a fab takeaway for their parents: “Janie even let us have breakfast for dinner!” 🧇 🧇 #payitforward
