My working space has slowly turned into a kind of nest. I feel like the magpie in The Castafiore Emerald from The Tintin series, collecting many interesting objects for its nest. In a way, my studio is also my nest. I gather toys and artworks to decorate every corner, mixed with scattered paper cuttings everywhere. This is the third year I’ve used this place as my main space for making collages. Before this, I used to share a table with Ika, but now I have a place of my own. I’ve made a few small changes along the way, like adding shelves and lights (now there are three lamps from different angles lighting my cutting mat), and I’m sure there will be more to come. #jurnalkolasefrnss
