In these times of collaborations 1+1 has the potential of making Infinitum or infinity. I have been fortunate to come across people who went out of the way to contribute towards elevating INFINITUM - An Eternal Connection, my third novel to its present form. Cheers to Ashualec who with her observations and critical eye helped me in this project. Being a Mumbaikar she helped me bring the spirit of Mumbai alive. Shakespeare Embodied : The Series Step into the world of Shakespeare like never before with Shakespeare Embodied! - an online masterclass series that will bring Shakespeare's plays alive in the here and now, with immediacy and vitality. This isn’t just about reading lines or boring classroom lectures —it’s about truly living the plays, feeling the rhythm, music, and imagery pulse through your body. This experiential and immersive program invites you to approach Shakespeare from an actor’s perspective, to move, speak, and play with the text until it comes alive in entirely new ways. We kick off the series with Macbeth, at once one of Shakespeare's most philosophical and political plays. We will uncover the real history and stories behind the script, delve into Shakespeare’s life and times, explore the characters and their inner conflicts, and discover how this timeless work still speaks to our lives, our societies, and our personal journeys right now. We will make Shakespeare our own by performing the monologues and scenes in our own languages, our own voics, and our own styles. Get ready to get up, move, and play. Let Shakespeare Embodied awaken the words within you. Join the movement—where every line is meant to be felt, lived, and transformed. Meant for actors, students, professors, psychologists, and all interested. About the facilitator: Arka Mukhopadhyay is a theatre performer and director who has presented acclaimed solo adaptations of Shakespeare all across India, as well as Singapore, Spain, Greece, and Croatia. Anxiety! Curiosity! Fear! Annoyance! Desire! Jealousy! Rage! Frustration! Grief! Bliss! If you are human, chances are you have experienced these at some point of time. Regardless of what domain you are in – engineering, finance, insurance, management, design, education, or counselling, you work with human beings. And that means you experience emotions, sensations, feelings and more. We have a choice - to be overwhelmed by our emotions from a place of ignorance, or embody our emotions from a place of awareness. What can theatre, expressive movement and the very powerful and ancient Indian psychological framework of rasa teach us about our emotions, and how to embody them? How can we integrate them in a wholesome way, in order to live more complete and fulfilling lives? In this online workshop, you are invited to come on a journey through your inner emotional geography, by exploring the connection between the body, the breath, and our emotions. A greater awareness of this connection leads to: • Deeper self awareness • More authentic self expression • Greater resilience and ability to handle change and uncertainty • Ability to negotiate difficult emotions and interactions • Greater attention, focus, and purposefulness and presence July 16th and 17th, 17:00 - 20:00, India Time Online Register: https://tinyurl.com/exploringemotions22 Contact: 91-9903943199 /theatreofresonance@gmail.com #emotionalwellness #emotionalawareness #selfawareness #selfmastery #mindfulness #design #counselling #coaching #facilitation #leadership #presence #navarasa

And here are the online workshops for January! Embodied Writing January 8th 17:30 - 20:30 IST This is one I've been meaning to do for a long while. We all need to write. Most of us write as part of our jobs, For some of us, writing IS our job. Some of us write in a way that is identified as "art". But most writing is done from the head. But what if the process of writing could draw more from all our senses? From breath, from rhythm, from movement, from touch? What if writing could be a more "whole-being" activity? That is the simple premise of this workshop. Hence, this is for you regardless of what you do. You could be from absolutely any professional background whatsoever - entrepreneur, therapist, teacher, trainer, coach, content writer, doctor, lawyer, artist or anything under the sun. You may be interested in writing for your profession, as your profession, as your vocation, or just for yourself - to journal and process your inner narratives. We will work through guided meditation and mindfulness exercises, we will work with cues from music or visual arts, with our senses, and with movement. There will be no more than five spots. Interested? Fill in this form and I will get back to you: tinyurl.com/embodiedwriting And on January 22nd, 17:30 - 20:30 IST, we return with Exploring Emotions - Journey Through Navarasas. So if you missed it last time, here's your chance!
