September Moments ✨️

It was a month that consisted of a little bit of everything!

A new haircut, went to a beautiful wedding. ✂️🥂
Training, boxing, an insanely fun parkour workshop, a fight practise, and the opportunity to appear on the Expresso show with awesome people. 💥
Learning how to make fresh pasta. 🍝 My eldest sister and nieces visiting, the time spent with family, and slow days at home. ❤️

Another day of “I’m not a stuntee but I train with them” 😎
Sometimes I wonder what the heck are you doing girl!

But then I look back on all the progress I’ve made (cause my clothes don’t fit anymore 🥹) the hard work I’ve put in that’s finally paying off ( cause I don’t huff and puff going up them stairs no more 😮‍💨 lol) and the connections I’ve made since pouring into myself became a priority and not a by chance occurrence. 💖

I’m so grateful for the community of wellness that I’m surrounded with because it’s not just about the physical, but the mental, emotional and spiritual one too.

Thanks @ashwillrob for pushing me and showing me that physical pain for the good is the only pain o should allow 🤪
Thanks @alice.schmidt_ for not holding back during this session & camera woman @monicabomkazi for pushing me for speed 😝

Parental guidance!!! 🚨 Children- please DO NOT watch till the end.

Hamlet’s To be, or not to be…

My take on the challenge in the @youreawesomecommunity with @alanpowell10 . The challenge was: to say the lines while doing something else.

We had 3 hours to create this from scratch and the other players had no idea until we did it.
Sound is horrible, we didn’t have a mic but - it was a crazy concept of doing the Hamlet while fighting which was brought to life by the amazing @willemsevernon . We shot this in a gap in the day in a public hallway of a building with active movement and so we had to cut and and and... you get it!

I’d love your thoughts for those who can watch.

A Note of Gratitude to the fam in the community…
I need to take a second to talk about the comments on this so far. I have been completely blown away.
Reading words like “I could not stop watching” and “Obsessed” is something l’ve never experienced directed toward my work before.
To be completely honest, I have never been so deeply engaged in a community in my entire life. The timing of this group coming into my life hits on a profound level. For the last few weeks, I’ve been traveling extensively, busy beyond measure, and living out of a bag in a hotel room in a city I’m still getting familiar with. Being away from my home, my wife, and my kids is never easy. But touching base with this community every day, learning growing and pushing each other has brought a strange, beautiful sense of familiarity.

Thank you all for the incredible support, the high-level critiques, and for making a hotel room feel a whole lot less lonely. 🔥 🫵🏽 You’re Awesome.
